Introduction to EndNote

  • Create an EndNote library
  • Add and modify records (references)
  • Import references from databases
  • Search within an EndNote library
  • Produce a bibliography

Advanced EndNote use

  • Build on the skills developed in the Introduction to EndNote session
  • Import PDF files to create new records
  • Use Find Full Text option
  • Create an EndNote Online account and sync your library on multiple devices
  • Use 'Cite while you write' with MS Word
  • Install and modify output styles

  • Use Trove (National Library of Australia) and specialist databases to find and access Australian and International theses and dissertations

Please note that Library staff do not provide in-depth training or support for NVivo

  • Use EndNote and NVivo to manage and write a literature review
  • Export records and full text PDF files from EndNote
  • Import EndNote data and PDF files into NVivo
  • Basic coding and analysis in NVivo
  • Cite details from the NVivo analysis in your literature review using EndNote
