Publications

The following list is of previous Charles Sturt University Art Collection catalogues, dating back to 1998. The catalogues draw from artworks within the collection, and include essays by important art curators and historians.

Two of the publications include signed limited edition artists' prints, commissioned for the publication.

Fair & Square is an exhibition of 44 artists, including GW Bot, Ron McBurnie, Deborah Klein, Dianne Longley, and John Ryrie.
All works are in a square format of 22 x 22cm. All works from this exhibition became part of the Charles Sturt University Art Collection.

This publication, designed by Eunice Song, jointly won Category A of The Museums Australia Flagship Awards Programme: The 2009 Multimedia and Publication Design Awards.
The judges' comments were: "being a book about a book, it has a sensibility to the artists medium, the designer really understands typography".

This publication was created in conjunction with the first dedicated exhibition of Elwyn Lynn Works on Paper.
Artworks chosen for the exhibition were primarily from the Lynn Estate and the Charles Sturt University Art Collection.

This exhibition toured to Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Albury, Goulburn, Bathurst and Dubbo Regional Galleries. There are two essays in the publication: "Landscape Declassifying Aboriginal Art" and "Landscape Artists of Pattern Symbol and Dot".
